Dancing with the BMS Stars:

Thank you to the Brownstown Middle School staff and students for our first "Dancing with the BMS Start" event.  This fundraiser raised $800 for the local charity "Rock CF" benefiting cystic fibrosis research.  The BMS students enthusiastically appreciated the dancing efforts of their teachers.

EcoCAR Participants Present at BMS

Members of the Wayne State University EcoCAR team visited Brownstown Middle School to present information about the EcoCAR competition. This competition challenges 15 universities across North America to reduce the environmental impact of the Chevrolet Malibu without compromising the performance, safety, and consumer acceptability of the car.

Throughout the presentation, the WSU students also shared how we can reduce our carbon footprint, conserve energy, and recycle.

The EcoCAR competition will be held in Yuma, Arizona from May 13-23. We wish Wayne State University good luck and look forward to hearing about their performance.
